CNCI(Category Normalized Citation Impact) is a unique relative indicator found in Clarivate's InCites database. It measures the actual number of citations an article receives in relation to the average number of citations for articles in the same subject area, published in the same year, and of the same type. A CNCI value greater than 1 indicates that the citation impact of the book is above the global average.
